Gros Poucet, a dry blonde beer, with assertive bitterness as required by the IPA style and tropical aromas reminiscent of pineapple, lychee and yellow fruits. Yellow color disturbed by the massive additions of hops during fermentation, it's a little sunshine in the glass to get through the winter. Three German varieties of hops give it all its character: Hüll Melon, Callista and Ariana. These three varieties are unusual in this style generally dominated by American hops, excellent certainly, but so distant. Fortunately our hop producer in Tettnang, Germany, has these little aromatic wonders on his estate which, carried by the 6.5% alcohol of the beverage, unfold olfactory treasures.
